A Sunspot & Infinaut combo deck

Overview

The Sunfinaut deck aims to offset the downside of The Infinaut with Sunspot. The Infinaut is a 6 cost, 20 power card that can only be played if you didn’t play any cards on the previous turn. This combos very well with Sunspot, who gains +1 power for each unspent energy you have at the end of your turn.

Armor is more or less a necessity to play with sunspot, as you will constantly run into Killmongers and Elektras that will break your combo otherwise.

The Core part of the deck is a movement deck, giving you Kraven, Ebony Maw, and Vulture for your power, and Iron Fist, Cloak, and Doctor Strange for your utility. Ebony Maw pairs well with the move deck as you can play him early in the game, and then play doctor strange to a location with 2 cards on turn 4, pulling Maw into a full space, and opening that last location back up for your Infinaut.

You have a few different options for your 3 tech cards, first up being Polaris, Blue Marvel, and She-Hulk. Polaris combos well with Kraven and can Jam up your opponents locations, not giving them room to work with while simultaneously adding power to Kraven.

Blue Marvel is always a good option for adding extra power to spaces your opponent think’s they’ve already won, allowing you to tip the scales to win the location.

She Hulk works like a mini Infinaut where skipping turn 5 to add 5 power to Sunspot will reduce her cost to 1 on the last turn. This can be a much better trump card than Infinaut in situations where you need to add power to more than 1 location, allowing you to play her in tandem with other cards on turn 6.
